Country Setting Kitchen Renovation.

Once I spotted that green tile it was a must have.
— The Owner

The original kitchen in this country home had been in place since the house was built and with a growing family, their needs had changed over time.

The clients had a clear vision as to the overall look they wanted to achieve in renovating the kitchen space, and specific items they wished to include.

One of the items was to replicate a “vintage military-style cabinet” and incorporate this into the design, which housed the microwave behind a door and pantry storage below.

The brass elements the client supplied added authenticity to the cabinet.

A clear wall with just the imported green tiles and a ceiling-mounted rangehood were also a part of the brief, adding drama to the space with the chosen colour combination.

The basic footprint of the kitchen remained similar working around an existing timber floor.
